2. Visiting the website (server log files)
Each time the website is accessed, the web server automatically records data transmitted by your browser:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- file requested and volume of data transferred
- notification of successful retrieval
- browser type, browser version and operating system
- referring page, where transmitted
Purpose and legal basis: this processing is technically necessary to deliver the website, keep it stable and defend against attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: log files are deleted or truncated after 30 days at the latest. They are not combined with other data.
3. Contact form
If you use the contact form, the details you enter — name, e-mail address, optionally organisation, the selected topic and your message — are sent to the controller by e-mail. The data is not stored in a database on the server and is not passed on to third parties.
Purpose and legal basis: handling your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give explicitly in the form, and, where your enquiry concerns a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Withdrawal: you may withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Retention: your enquiry is deleted once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply — for business correspondence normally seven years under Austrian commercial and tax law.
Spam protection: the form contains a field invisible to humans and checks the time between loading and submission. No personal data is transmitted to third parties in the process.
4. Contact by e-mail or telephone
If you contact us directly by e-mail or telephone, your details are processed in order to handle the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). E-mail communication runs through Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google's privacy terms apply.
5. Hosting

The servers are located in an ISO 27001 certified data centre in Vienna, that is, within the European Union. The provider processes the log files described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
6. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party content
This website sets no cookies and uses neither web analytics nor tracking. The fonts used are stored on our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other content delivery network. No maps, videos or social media buttons are embedded. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
The website links to the external site 21npo.org. This link transmits data only once you click it. The respective provider is responsible for any processing there.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to the controller:
- access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
An informal message to the e-mail address above is sufficient.
